It's a home game so the freshman will be in a friendly environment. Also, Texas A&M has played down to the level of their competition a couple of times this year. Vols lose the game but cover the spread, IMO.
That was a dumb move when you stop and think about it.Yeah and it turned out to be a pretty piss poor move.
Such bullshit, but at least they’re admitting it now.Things are looking good for the Aggies. Ohio State is losing at halftime and TAMU is up 24-13 in the 3rd qtr.
As an aside, I was listening to Dan Patrick earlier this week and he made a good point about TAMU and the playoffs. He said even though they'll never admit it publicly the committee members value brand and would prefer teams & players who have national buzz about them and who'll help bring in television ratings. He pointed out if Texas A&M had Johnny Manziel at QB they would absolutely be in the playoffs this year because he was such a polarizing and exciting player.
I don't disagree with your assessment but the only way he drops that far is if a couple of QBs jump him to go near the top of the draft. Basically I agree about his skill limitations but I think a team will draft him high anyway.I don't think Justin Fields is going to be drafted as highly as people think. He puts up video game numbers vs the average to bad teams but when he plays against a team with a solid defense he looks very average.
He's a guy who I think draft experts have overvalued and there's going to be a lot of shock seeing him still on the board as they head to the backend of the 1st round.
That's just Jimbo ball, and yeah his control the clock mentality drives me nuts at times. It's a real longshot we even get in now with Ohio coming backAs someone who has had the joy of watching my team get boat raced by Alabama, Florida, and Georgia (amongst others)... ImReally unimpressed with A&M. This is the 5th best team in the country?
A&M isn’t dominating like they should. We’re trash. And we’re without some of our best guys.
Just keeping it real @jsmith6919 but if you guys make the playoffs, it might get ugly for you.
Really hope Jeremy Pruitt is fired after this.
I'm just going by the assumption that teams have learned their lesson after the terrible QB reaches in the 2011 draft class. Back in 2011 there were about 3 QBs drafted in the 1st round who had no business being drafted that high. Especially when you looked at their college resumes. That was the class that included EJ Manuel and Jake Locker.I don't disagree with your assessment but the only way he drops that far is if a couple of QBs jump him to go near the top of the draft. Teams get silly when you talk QBs. I think he will go second and you may end up with another Mariota type first while the team taking him is hoping to get the next Watson.I'm just going by the assumption that teams have learned their lesson after the terrible QB reaches in the 2011 draft class. Which means you’re in the playoffs. Unless UF pulls out a miracle. I don’t see that happening.Clemson is beating the shit out of ND
I don't know, I wouldn't put it past them to still put in ND over usWhich means you’re in the playoffs. Unless UF pulls out a miracle. I don’t see that happening.
f Florida.
I mean they do only have one loss. Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson... Jesus it's like the same thing every year.I don't know, I wouldn't put it past them to still put in ND over us
