They could do it really well if they want to. But they have to give up on idea that Harrison Ford at 78 is anything close to an action hero. It's just not believable.

In the Sean Connery Last Crusade type of role? Could be great. They need a great younger action actor for the action scenes though, and not Labeouf.

And no frigging aliens.

I did not watch it. The franchise had run its course for me by then.
It was awful.

While no one will ever accuse those films of being grounded in realism, Indy literally survives a nuclear test by hiding in a lead lined fridge that gets chucked a half mile into the air. He proceeds to just walk out, no questions asked.

That, along with The Last Jedi, have been the two worst theater experiences of my life.

Space flying Leia was the last straw for me

I mean, I could write a collegiate thesis on every thing wrong with that movie, but thousands of people have already done that for me. I watched it once like I said in theaters, have never watched it again, and will never watch Rise of Skywalker. Ever.

The shame is the Rise of Skywalker was actually pretty good, but Last Jedi really badly drags the sequels down.
