With Garrett gone and three Oklahoma QBs, we may be witnessing a passing of the torch from Schmitty to Boomer Sooner.
If Hurts doesn’t work out then I will of a different opinion. I’m waiting to see what will actually happen not a conclusion without the benefit of at least the true performance. But keep on stirring the pot. That is one of your strengths.

You know we actually watched him ply in college, right? So, not exactly a one game impression.

Well the discussion is will he make it in the pros and that is a one game exhibition. His college experience has simply proven he had success there as a factual matter. It didn’t necessarily determine what his actual performance would be in the pros. The college performances will only lend itself to what he did there. The professional story is yet to be determined.

the bigger story here is how far Wentz has sunk. And think about how much he got paid. The Eagles are fucked, and that's a good thing.

Why do all of these draft pundits even have a job? No use doing any evaluation of play at the college level. Just gotta wait until they get to the NFL to truly see how they will play. Come on, man.

My post said he is feeling the effects of longivety and it’s pretty plain to see. He isn’t as fast as he once was and cannot elude tacklers a much as he previously did, etc. He is experiencing the lessening of having played several seasons and it happens to most players who have fairly long careers in the NFL. I don’t see why you take this as a put down to Wilson. It just an observation and comparison to the way things happen with longivety players in the league. It’s not even close to a single game conclusion.
Okay, so you're clarification is that you are only referring to his diminishing mobility with the general statement of he is feeling the effects of longevity.

Well, the other effect of his longevity is that he has blossomed into one of the best passers in the league. Seahawks fan will gladly take that.

@Angrymesscan effect or affect?

The draft pundits don’t make the decisions on who is drafted. As I recall Hurts went much higher than those folk had him down for.

I didn't comment on his passing. I commented on his ability to run.

Why not see how he actually does before you pass judgement. That’s what I am willing to do. If he strikes out then so be it but if he manages to become a serviceable pro QB then that’s the way it is.

Yeah @Iamtdg we just have to wait and see how black Tebow turns out, it's not like we've ever seen a similar qb to him

Only 14-3 because the Steelers have let them hang around.

Washington is now threatening them with the ball at the 3.
