I'm so sick and tired of the double standard for QBs. Like during last night's Baylor-OU game. Baylor's QB had just been picked off and OU's DB was casually stepping out of bounds giving himself up. Well Brewer (the QB) comes flying in and shoves the DB in the back, sending him flying into the sideline equipment. No flag was thrown. If the roles were reversed the defensive player would have been hit with a 15 yard penalty.

Then later in the game, an OU DL shoves Brewer to the ground on a pass play. It was one of those bang-bang plays where he may have hit the QB half a step late at best.....but it was nothing egregious. Yet they threw the flag anyway. There was no hit to the head or violent contact involved. Just a simple 2-hand shove to the chest. Pathetic.

I've got Oklahoma by 10.

I know Iowa State has improved as well since their first meeting, but this Oklahoma defense is a lot better than the defense that Iowa State saw back in September. They are performing at the level of a top 10 defense.

Seems like a lot of the Texas fans want Iowa State's Matt Campbell to replace Herman. Michigan fans have their eye on Campbell as well.

IMO, if Campbell were to leave Iowa State I think he'd choose Michigan over Texas. Texas is better this year but Michigan's been the better program over the last decade.

Yeah this is a fucked up season. Teams are so off in terms of games played. Is it fair to hold Ohio State out because they can't play more games? Probably not but I also agree that its impossible to rank a team fairly off only 5 games played. I feel like this is a fake season.

This is my main issue with it. Almost every year we get teams who get off to fast starts, then after Halloween they fall off and finish with 3 or 4 losses. Whose to say that won't happen to Ohio State if they played 9 or 10 games.
