I agree, could Dak have done what Wentz did (with what had) down the stretch last year? He's not "definitely" better than Wentz.
"Lol"

I said Goff is arguable. Goff had a very bad year last year and Prescott had his best.I don't see much evidence that he isn't at least every bit as good as Goff and Wentz.
And you didn't even name Wentz as as arguable. But yeah, considering Wentz's injury history and what I've seen. Dak is clearly the better player taking everything into account. You're blinded by Wentz and your love for him from the draft. He's not "definitely" better than Wentz.
"Lol"
Sure, he can run. He's not an established red zone threat with his legs like prescott is, though.Wentz is massively overrated. (Wentz is also a threat to run btw)
I think I was the first on the board to call him fools gold. Still stand by that. And you didn't even name Wentz as as arguable. But yeah, considering Wentz's injury history and what I've seen. And by the way if anyone wants to say Wentz is a better pure passer I think they are wrong. His accuracy is all over the place. He benefits from a very QB friendly system that makes him look better than he is.
Not being a smartie but that is true of most QBs. If you have a mediocre group around them they are less effective. Hurts has arm strength, speed, size and is pretty accurate with high quality training at big time schools. The only times he seemed overwhelmed was when superior defenses neutralized the team. And that wasn't often.Well, I wouldn't say I dislike him, I just think he will struggle without superior talent around him.
We might see a lot of training camps in the southern statesSpeaking of states opening things up for public gatherings, it'll be interesting to see how the NFL handles this because obviously you some states aren't as bad off as others and will be opening up a lot sooner. I'm willing to bet the NFL won't open up operations until they can figure out a way to allow all teams to open up simultaneously. That way teams from states like Texas and Georgia who are already opening up won't have a significant competitive advantage over teams located in states with more stringent reopening standards.
No doubt.Lol definitely better than Wentz
Yeah, but you have to factor is reliability. Wentz is not. Dak is. SO, what pushes you over to definitely better is his reliability. For years we had a missile in Sean Lee, but he wasn't even considered top 15 in the league because he couldn't stay on the field. Same applies here.More durable, sure. But I think it's arguable when it comes right down to actual skills. Certainly not, 'definitely'.
I absolutely do not agree. Even if you take out injury, I think they are right about the same level of QB.I said Goff is arguable. Goff had a very bad year last year and Prescott had his best.
Wentz, if not for injury, I'd say is hands down better than Prescott.
What's the point of a QB who isn't healthy to play once the playoffs arrive?I absolutely do not agree. Even if you take out injury, I think they are right about the same level of QB.
That's what I was thinking. Maybe they secure some property in a handful of states that open early and funnel teams to those locations. Similar to the idea that was kicked around in MLB circles where one suggested course of action was to play all games in Arizona and Florida at spring training facilities. We might see a lot of training camps in the southern states
Yeah, I kind of said that in the post you replied to.Yeah, but you have to factor is reliability. Wentz is not. Dak is. SO, what pushes you over to definitely better is his reliability. I agree with you. i think Dak looks better but he also has better recievers but a worse coach. But the injuries seal the deal for me.Yeah, I kind of said that in the post you replied to.
Just like I said when it comes down to just QB skills, imo its debatable who's better. You disagree. That's fine.
Hell, I don't think Wentz is better even without the injury factor.I absolutely do not agree. Even if you take out injury, I think they are right about the same level of QB.
Ok.I absolutely do not agree. Even if you take out injury, I think they are right about the same level of QB.
I agree with what @Simpleton said above, after watching their offense since he left I think Reich was the mastermind behind their SB runAnd FWIW I still don’t believe Doug Pederson is particularly better than Garrett. And I expect McCarthy to run circles around him despite being 350 pounds.
