Yeah I agree but I think he outproduces Cobb from last year which is what matters.
Think he'll outproduce Cobb in the most important area - touchdowns.
6-7 TDs should easily happen for Lamb with his red zone proficiency and his elusiveness after the catch (like a young, pre-injuries Dez).

Pretty pathetic by Jerry to force an old, arguably outdated tradition on a player but at least he isn't ruining drafts for us every year anymore.

a third wide receiver shouldn't be given that number

It's cool when you're like years removed from the last legendary WR but Dez was on the team 3 years ago, it seems too soon, plus Lamb seemingly didn't really want it.

I'd have just let him roll with whatever he wanted but it's whatever.

I agree with this. Seems silly to just continually have an 88 for whoever the new top young WR is.

true, I had already forgotten about Dez. I just don't want him to wear one of those stupid assed mid teen numbers we've been using lately. Theyre retarded

I don't know why we can't just give a good WR 80 or something.

Yea, at the end of the day Jerry isn't out here trading down for Robert Brewster and Jason Williams so I'll take the sweet draft and accept Jerry's old-man ditherings to go along with it.

I might be cool with Tavon's old number, though. I don't expect him back.

Schultz should fork over 86. It's not like he's doing anything with it.
