The whole thing is gonna collapse one day, perhaps this is the start
I've wondered that, too. The whole thing is a house of cards, I think most of us realize that. At some point it will collapse. This doesn't look right now like the tipping point, but it'll happen at some point.

And a lot of it is because of these out-of-touch politicians like Pelosi who think the government is nothing but an unlimited spigot of money to be tapped into whenever possible.

I just went to this regional hardware chain store, and my god, people won't keep their distance. Seems like especially the redneck types who I guess think if they don't believe in this virus, then it doesn't exist or something. Just maddening.

I hate the lockdown orders, but geez, if people refuse to do basic things like social distancing I kind of understand them.

I assume there are at least a few Texans that post here. I recently read an article where it seems your Lt. Governor, and he says, other grandparents are willing to die for the economy? Thoughts on this? Is this a prevalent feeling in Texas? Are Texans, in general, willing to die so the economy doesn't collapse? Like a war or something?

No, that is not the prevailing opinion here or anywhere for that matter. It was a stupid thing for him to say.

I'm in Texas but I don't pay much attention to what politicians say, I find it impossible to listen to most of them for longer than a few seconds.

I'm certainly not willing to lay down my life for the economy, lol. I suspect Im not alone
