I don't think Jerry is interested in anyone on the staff of LSU or ClemsonLSU final game Jan. 13, Garrett's contract runs out on 14th, Coincidence?

I'd be interested in Dabo Swinney, but he'd be a damned fool to take the job unless he was parachuting out of some sanctions before people find out who got paid.I don't think Jerry is interested in anyone on the staff of LSU or Clemson
Dabo is annoying to me but a great coach. I'm guessing if he was my coach he wouldn't annoy the shit out of me anymore.I'd be interested in Dabo Swinney, but he'd be a damned fool to take the job unless he was parachuting out of some sanctions before people find out who got paid.
Everyone loves Jackson right now but could you imagine what he would look like under someone like Garrett? Everyone would be screaming bust. Not all offensive coordinators are capable of tailoring an offense to the talent they have. Roman is and not only that but his offenses have proven to work in the playoffs as well. I'm totally on board with you on this one. With our power running game and a QB who can throw and run and I think we would get back to a control the clock offense that helps the defense look better than they are. Then go burn some resources on the defense to make them better. In 2011 he built an offense around Alex Smith, the running game and mediocre WR's/TE's that got the 49ers to the NFCC. In 2012 they switched to Kaepernick midseason and got within 5 yards of the Super Bowl with the same supporting cast built around a strong running game. He coaxed a Pro Bowl season out of career backup Tyrod Taylor. He's taken a very limited passer in Jackson and built the Ravens offense into one of the most dynamic in the league with average WR's/TE's and a multi-faceted running game.
100% agree, wherever he goes he takes the building blocks given to him and makes a custom offense out of it, unlike most 'offensive geniuses' who go around with 500 page playbooks and spend most of their career dining out on the one time they had all the right shaped pegs to fit in the holes dictated by their system.I'd be willing to give almost anybody (Riley, Meyer, any half way decent NFL coordinator/assistant) a chance after dealing with this gump Garrett for 10 years but Roman is really the guy I'd prefer.

Jackson isn't the guy who made Roman, it's the other way around. Roman has built dynamic run-centered offenses with and without Jackson, and he's found creative ways to get explosive plays out of the passing game built off the threat of the Ravens running game.
Dak is obviously no Jackson as far as a runner but he's a far superior passer and our offensive talent in general is better than the Ravens. Better OL, better RB's, better WR's, the only advantage the Ravens have is at TE.
I'd love to see what he can do with our offensive personnel and hopefully he could bring some of the Ravens DNA to the horse shit country club fuckery that goes on in this organization.
If Jackson wasn't the only QB he has been successful with I might agree.I like what Roman does, but I'm wary of the Xs and Os offensive guru being promoted to HC, especially with an elite talent like Jackson.
really?but he's a far superior passer
Yeah, I don't agree with that either. It is hard to judge because the offenses are so different and Jackson is throwing to wide open guys a lot of the time. Jackson has some bad misfires from time to time, but so does Dak.really?
Jackson looks like he has far more velocity, a better spiral and no worse accuracy but I admit I've only seen a few games and mostly highlights and dont know what the hell I'm talking about when it comes to player evaluation
Dabo is not a great coach. He's a great college coach, but I wouldn't say he's a great coach if that makes sense.Dabo is annoying to me but a great coach. I'm guessing if he was my coach he wouldn't annoy the shit out of me anymore.
sounds like the last 25 years"no one from players to coaches to staff seem to know what is going on"
The Ravens offense is built entirely on the running game, Jackson is basically last in the league in attempts per game and the vast majority of his throws are built off of the threat of the running game. He's almost never out there in 4 or 5-wide, simply dropping back and making throws, there's always some sort of RPO/play-action type of movement to simplify things for him in the passing game.really?

This is just glorious, a perfect example of how the business of football and continuous improvement is nowhere near the top of the priority list for these backwoods yokel fucks.
No, but in terms of media oxygen, there will be more.I don't think Jerry is interested in anyone on the staff of LSU or Clemson
