Fuck this MF'er. And people think he wouldn't undermine the HC if he were to come back in a front office type of position?

Get this arrogant fucking loser out of here already.
You just can't keep him in the front office. I just can't even picture a way that would possibly work. Jerry should just hire him as his drinking buddy and take him on sweet vacations. No reason to involve the Cowboys.

Ive changed my mind. Give him another chance. I want to see the train wreck.
The sad thing is knowing Garrett's up and down nature we would probably be a little better next year and then we would be stuck with that fucking failure for another 2 years.

Dabo is not a great coach. He's a great college coach, but I wouldn't say he's a great coach if that makes sense.

Mind you, I hate Clemson, but I don't think I'm biased on this one bit. Dabo benefits greatly by a very cohesive coaching staff. Brent Venebles has been his assistant forever, and he's arguably one of the best DC's in college football. Strangely, he loves it at Clemson and doesn't want a HC gig. Earlier this offseason, Clemson lost an offensive assistant who took a head coaching job somewhere, and he was the first assistant Dabo has had to replace in years.

Add to it, Dabo feasts on an embarrassingly bad ACC. Virginia Tech sucks. Florida State sucks. Miami is a dumpster fire. Dabo has no competition in the ACC. He basically doesn't play anyone until the CFP.

I think Dabo is a good motivator. His players love him and its kind of like a cult down there. But I don't think his style would work in the NFL. NFL players won't eat out of his hand like college kids would. I don't think he's got the X's and O's to make it as an actual coach.

Lets not forget Dabo was a questionable hire when Clemson hired him, and he was almost run off after several years on the job for mediocre performance. He's also benefiting by having back to back amazing quarterbacks. How many times you see in college a team go from a Dashaun Watson to a Trevor Lawrence? That is insane luck.
Since this is a Garrett thread I'll keep this short. Im a bit of a Clemson homer since my youngest son just got in there, but Dabo is a helluva coach IMO and from all accounts I've heard is a great recruiter. And while Clemson may "feast" on a weak ACC, they have more than proven they can play with anyone in college football, which is pretty amazing considering the talent pool and enrollment of Clemson.

I think Pube's fingerprints were on the play calling as late as the Skins game. I didn't keep track but it seemed like on first down they ran the ball every time.

After the first couple games when Moore was getting so much credit look at how much we got away from playaction in games after that

Speak for yourself. I don't want to see his fucking face again.
What does it matter if he is here or not? The franchise is screwed. Any sane owner or even son of owner would have shown him the door several years ago. Now he is even contemplating bringing him back. F that. They deserve each other.

I don’t even think that would work. I think at this point the players quit giving a shit about him. So if the bitch comes back next year I assume the players would still mail in the season because they don’t want him there. They can see how his coaching is a hinderance. I mean Dez and Romo have mentioned it time and time again how the offense is predictable. Players aren’t stupid, they know this guy will take them no where with his countless questionable decisions. I think they would do no better than 6-10 if he were to stay. Jerry neds to be smarter than this. Our only hope is that Stephen forces his hand to let Garrett walk. if not then get used to the same old shit with Stephen.

We’ll agree to disagree. He’s a hell of a recruiter and that helps him in college. Wouldn’t help him in the NFL. I don’t think he’s much of a coach as far as X’s and O’s. I’ve stated my point.

Because at least something different would be entertaining. A Garrett led football team is like watching frogs fuck.

As it is with NASCAR, the wrecks are entertaining... every else is just a left turn.
