This is where not even having a semblance of a GM (or any of the other professional staff that a GM would have), will just absolutely kill us.

Maybe he can glance at some resumes after browsing new yachts on ebay and before whatever Saudi delegation arrives for their personal tour.

Even when shown the new playbook he will still die on that hill. Let's not listen to someone that was actually there at all. That brilliant!
Patrick Crayton just doesn't move the needle much for him.

How much do you think that needle would have moved if Crayton would have came out and debunked the sabatage theory?

Notwithstanding all that Garrett may or may not have done , the bottom line for me is that he had several years to show where he could take the team and in the final analysis he simply didn’t have what it takes to get beyond an occasional first round appearance in the playoffs. His departure is needed because of that circumstance alone. The rest is conversation matter.

You sure about that? Hell, Garrett got 10 years. And he didn't even win a divisional round game, much less a Super Bowl.
But there wasn't a hot head coach in waiting during that time.

But, I guess there wasn't any chance of that happening. Since we were running our preseason offense in the middle of the season. Right?

Hell, the year prior we were the #1 seed and expected to compete hard for the Super Bowl the year it all fell apart. Looks like that 'coach in waiting' may have got a little antsy.
Yeah, again, you have no real way of knowing what exactly happened or why it happened and you are assuming the worst.

And you are assuming the worst because... well....

No doubt.

No one is disagreeing that this should be the end for him.

There is no way Jerry isn’t considering how much backlash he’ll get if he keeps Garrett.

Yeah, pretty misguided, but it's how we do business and apparently will keep doing business.

I think it's eminently possible that our next coach is a 4-12 train wreck.
I feel safe in saying we will have a better head coach.

It's poetic, really. Betrayed by that which he held most dear.
Yep. The gutless wonder who only played for FGs lost multiple games this season due to keeping an obvious and well documented shitty kicker.
