God I hope thos game was Moore taking back over the offense. Literally I have no proof of it. But the offense looked way different today.

Luckily with 2 weeks to heal up I think theyvwill be fine. Quinn is a rib thing. You can usually play through those. LVE maybe a stinger.

Can you think of anyone else in recent history that let a coach they really wanted to retain become a lame duck coach (ie, a free agent)? No, everyone extends coaches they want to keep because its also a recruiting tool for hiring assistants. Top notch assistants don't usually want to go into places where they know the HC is about to be deep sixed.

Its buried in the article someone posted (in the NFL forum) about the Redskins coaching search. Garrett is mentioned as a possibility and they note his extension was basically pulled back after that Rams loss.

Other than the pick I thought he played stellar. That was a dumb decision. But otherwise we used the hurry up and Dak looked in complete control of the offense.

It's still extremely rare to keep a coach with no contract. If you actually perform well that coach can bolt for a big pay day. It speaks volumes that Jerry didn't extend him sooner.
