Actually, it's an NFL pre-Hall of Fame early qualification symbol...instead of the 5-year period, Jason only needs to wait 2 years before eligibility. Only given to players with at least 15 years of service.

NFL didn't want the most-tenured players to die before they got HoF eligibility.
