Anyone that bitches about this game is just bitching to bitch. We definitely need to continue to keep the running game at the forefront of our mind. But, we also need to make sure we don't go overboard. I'm not sure our coaches can keep that balance, but we can hope.
There's really nothing about this game for a fan to bitch about. Their first "A" game in a long time.

My only concern right now is that I relooked at the schedule and it actually looks pretty tough right now. Like 7 or 8 win tough.

Awesome weekend.

Cowboys win convincingly...and all my hated teams lost - Eagles, Giants, Redskins, Steelers, Packers, 49ers, Texans for Ace and Chargers for me.

I don't know if that combo's ever happened.

Take me now, Lord, I'm ready.

Dallas can't afford to lose to teams they should beat. As of right now, Detroit, San Diego, Minnesota, New York, Washington, Philadelphia, and Oakland are middle of the pack to poor. If Washington gets its act together that away game will be tough as always, but a team like Dallas should shoot for 7-2 from this group.

Of the tough games, Denver, Green Bay, and New Orleans are at home and only Chicago is away. What works against Dallas is the ideal passing conditions in AT&T Stadium favor Manning, Rodgers, and Brees, but they also favor our smallish but fast defense. The Packers' defense looks bad, and I fear them less and less every game they play. Even if Dallas comes away from these games 1-3, it makes them 10-6 and a playoff host.

New Orleans is away.

We could probably pull one of those four games out of our ass though.

For some reason I got it in my head it's at home. They've matched up well against the Saints before, though Dallas has less speed in the secondary than they had in 2009.

It's 7-8 win tough if our offense plays like it did the first 2 weeks.

If we run the ball like yesterday, we could win a bunch more than that. We could clean up on in-division wins. Beating Minnesota, Oakland and Detroit would not be a tall order either.

Did Chris Long play today?

I'm not asking rhetorically, I really don't remember seeing/hearing anything from him.

If so, props Doug Free.
Doug Free has been really good.

I say Jerry should try to reduce him to minimum wage next offseason. He seems to play better the less money he gets.

That's what I was thinking too.

I wanted every team on your list sans San Diego to lose.

I can't remember the last time that all of those results panned out.

It was a marvelous Sunday.

How miserable will your week be if the Cowboys lose to San Diego next week?

There's some truth to that. Some guys need a kick in the pants to motivate them to play well. They get paid then they get comfortable.

They don't care if the coaches yell at them and/or demote them because they're still getting paid.

Once you threaten that salary that's when you get their attention. I think Free falls into that category.

Part of me wants to get really excited about yesterday. Other then the 2 fumbles (one lost) we played a pretty close to perfect game. The problem is I can't help but think to myself that this is the Rams. That they are the same Rams team that has stunk the NFL up in recent history. I think the Rams are a different team now. One with a badass defensive line but yet I still worry that we played so well because we were just playing that bad of a team.

If we come out and beat San Diego I will start feeling pretty good about our team. I know a lot of people on here are chucking San Diego in the bad team pile but I wouldn't be so quick to do so. They pushed the Texans to their limits. They beat the Eagles. Sure they had a hiccup against the Titans but the Chargers could give us a real game.
