Yep, that plus Barkley doing so much for Philly really sucks. Means we're behind the curve and playing catchup on these leaguewide trends again. I hope it doesn't cost us a good back if we don't take one early, there's a run on them, and we're stuck again.
There are so many NFL caliber drafts in this draft I'm not worries. I said it before we should draft 2 of these guys. One in the 2nd or 3rd and one later on. UDFA's, too.

Same. Going as far as 20 would make me a little nervous, but to 16-18 or so would be perfect.
Going to 20 would make you nervous, but 18 would be perfect? That one player taken at 19 would give you pause?

This makes zero sense to me. Especially since we don't know which players would be on the board at the time.

I remember that goddamn song.

I was working in a department store in the Young Men’s department and we had what they thought were cool ass edgy videos.
Still a pretty good song. :unsure

You know what I mean. Sure, 20 could be fine, just don't go down so far that you miss on a difference maker. It's a thin draft anyway.

Well, sure. But the main point I'm making is maybe a trade down only 2-3 spots is far more than I'd be willing to make. Or... Maybe I'd be willing to trade down 6-8 spots. It all depends on who is still on the board when we are on the clock. To try and draw that line now is pointless to me. We don't know who is still on the board. I'm not trading down just to say I traded down. I still want one of my targets to make it feasible.

You're right, if a few unexpected players get taken before us, we could trade down a little farther and probably still be okay.

Overall I guess my point is we're in a pretty good spot. I do like trading down, and we need the picks. Just don't get too cute and go down too much to where you might have to settle for a player you're not actually that excited about. I don't think they'd do that anyway, though.

Always thought he was overrated.

I guess it will always amaze me how much people have that inborn herding instinct and follow what everyone else does.

Honestly he probably doesn't want to go to those teams. Like it or hate it the guy's dad is Deion. He has the luxury of not worrying over losing some money on his rookie deal because he doesn't go as high.

With that being said, he isn't a physical specimen at QB at all. He is ok to good at a lot of stuff. But he isn't an elite QB prospect and there isn't an elite arm there. I just hope he goes before 12. And I think he will. But we have seen QBs drop before.

Ridiculous.

It is not at all unfair to believe that Sanders' kid came off like that.

His father did the same thing.

But hey, let's try to turn it into something else.

It also may just be a team wanting to draft Sanders. Teams talk all kinds of shit this time of year if it helps them get the guy they want.
