He definitely did it then.And that's the other thing: Would Jerry actually stay out of it and tell the players the coach is the boss and I have his back for whatever he wants to do? Jerry hasn't done that since the first few Parcells years, if even then.
Think about it -- if it were up to Jerry, who would've started at QB for the second half of the 2004 season? Testaverde or Drew Henson?
Jerry has shown he can and will relinquish control for a coach, but it has to be the right coach and under the right circumstances.
