You’re my boy, Ace. But this is so fucking gay it makes me hope he dies in a fire before we ever even get a chance to consider hiring him.
I'm sorry, but my hopes in witnessing his coronation is all I have left.

It's my fantasy to imagine however I so choose.

So while I'm sorry to upset thee, you'll have to continue to suffer through my obsession until we either witness the commencement of his royal leadership or the dream is shattered to my heart's discontent.

Good day, sir.

I love it, of course, like I think we all do.

I do kind of wonder if this would still work with today's increasingly-pampered athletes. How many would just curl up in a ball before they go crying to Daddy Jerry that the head ball coach is being too mean to them?

And that's the other thing: Would Jerry actually stay out of it and tell the players the coach is the boss and I have his back for whatever he wants to do? Jerry hasn't done that since the first few Parcells years, if even then.

I’d like to know how Belichick was his first year 2000 when they went 5-11, then 11-5 2001.

Belichick can be as pissy when the team is already operating at a high level coming off multiple SBs.

Coming into our circus probably different circumstances and response. Would probably require mass roster turnover that Jones’ may be too lazy/incapable of. Funny enough, though, whether it works or not, I don’t care. Do it.

I wondered the same. Here he is tamping down any arrogance of a very good team. Wonder how he is at building up a lousy one.

I think 3 years is the max it would last for both but could depend on how close to the SB he was able to get (if any). Can't imagine Bill coaching for that much longer and Jerry is looking really haggard.

Teams have turned it around quickly lately but that would require Jerry to stay away and Stephen to unclench.

Yep, and don't get me wrong, I'd love to get Belichick even if just for a couple of years. My expectations are modest. I just want to see a tougher, more disciplined team that can win the LOS on both sides again. And especially not get run over and out-physicaled every week on defense. I have no illusions of Super Bowls or anything like that until we totally retool with a new QB.

Unfortunately, what I posted before I think is more reason I don't think BB comes here. I don't think Jerry will go that far again. Though if we only win another game or two, maybe he's embarrassed enough to do something drastic.

This is true but I think it could build a foundation. Sort of like Parcells did for us in a short period of time.

I fucking love it.

Micah Parsons is going to need a therapist after a training camp with Belichick.
If there is one thing I appreciate about Belichick is that he has that Parcells trait in him where he will never allow the stars to smell themselves. I just fear the coaching minions he would bring aboard.
