Oh, and since this place loves percentages, there is a 0.00% chance Belichick is coming here to coach.
Not sure I would be excited if he did. I just get the feeling the guy won't put his heart in it. He is busy with 23 year old models. I sort of feel like he wouldn't have the energy and drive to change the culture here.

Even if we only ever get avg to below avg utility out of him for a few years, he'd maybe crack the top ten of worst all time first rounders.

He's gotta ramp up his suck to match guys like Bobby Carpenter, Morris Claiborne, Rod Hill, Shante Carver, David LaFleur, Taco Charlton, Bill Thomas, Tody Smith, Kevin Brooks, and Scott Appleton.
Has a SB ring...

On a side note... was listening to someone the other day (maybe Jessie Holly on HWTB) and he was speaking of Mo, and he said the Cowboys took him b/c he was the best "man" corner in the draft, which is what they were playing under Rob Ryan, but the following year Kiffin was brought in, and he preferred "zone". Claiborne just could not make the adjustment, but then he went to the Jets, who were playing man coverage, and he had his best season since his rookie year.

This probably why Zim jettisoned as many of DQ's guys as he could. Which is why it would suck to change DCs again so soon (especially if the defense is making an improvement as the season progresses).

If Zim stays, he can whore himself to Jerry for Deone Walker.

They can just hire Kubiak as HC and it'll be a seamless fit all around. He coached under Zimmer in Minnesota and his brother is a scout for the team.

If a player is drafted as high as Claiborne was, he better be way more versatile than only being able to play one way.

And by the way he wasn't that great with the Jets either.

They didn't get them here, so it makes no difference to me.

Ken Norton Jr. won rings here. I hold them in high esteem. The one he won in San Fran I could not give a shit less about.
Wasn't aware I was trying convince you it should.... I only meant to point out the bust that fell ass backwards into a championship.

Maybe I shuoulda used :picard

Hated the move up to 6 so much at the time because it seemed like they had done better than normal the previous couple years.

Sean Lee and Dez in 2010, then Tyron and DeMarco in 2011.

What a kick in the nuts that we traded up for Mo bust when Kuechly, Gilmore, Poe, or Cox could have been had if we just had to have defensive help...I recall being all in on David DeCastro
