Yeah but they want to destroy the kickoff. If you did that it might encourage more of them. Can't have that.
On the contrary, kickoff elimination strengthens the yards enforcement change even more.

The offense’s possession has to start somewhere. Enforce the yardage from the opening field position, not where the football is teed.

Um, more like those spares at RB are made by Mahomes. That whole team is. That's what happens when you have an all time great at QB.
Do QBs make RBs better? I get WRs and even Olineman to some extent. But if your conclusion is they are doing it because they are running against 7 man boxes, I'm sure our RBs faced 7 man boxes a ton and still lost yards.

Of course. DCs know they have to stop (or limit) Mahomes, not Isiah Pacheko.

Not a popular opinion, but I don’t consider him an all time great. Yes he is very very good. But for the majority of his career, he’s had some dynamic offensive players around him. (And coaching) Guys like T Hill, T Kelse, K Hunt, etc…. Yeah, he had lesser players this year, and he looked mortal. As I’ve said, he’s very good. A HOF guy. Certainly a guy you’d love to have. But I’m not ready to say he’s an all timer yet.

I mean I don't really think of Pacheko as anything special. He is a good little RB but I guess I could see the argument. But hypothetically defensive coordinators did the same thing with Dallas this year and it didn't do much. Not that Dak is anywhere close to Mahomes but Dak was definitely the one defensive coordinators were worried about.

Also if Mahomes creates RBs why does Clyde Edwards Helaire still suck? I think your Oline and run scheme does much more for creating a RB than the QB. Just my humble opinion.

I didn't mean THE all time greatest (although he could be)... but you don't even think he's in the top handful? I'm not sure what else he needs to do.

I agree with this. But, Mahomes has a lot of WTF moments too when he’s playing. Last night he had some throws that if you only saw the throws and not the uniforms you’d wonder if it was Dak or Hurts or whoever playing QB.
The difference is Mahomes will follow up shit like that with big clutch plays when his team absolutely needs it. He also benefits from a coach who believes in having 2-3 RBs on the team who can run over, around, or away from the defense which does take pressure off Mahomes to do everything.
I think if Dak had a running game like KC, he’d instantly go up a notch or two in how he plays the game.
It always comes down to a 1-2 play each quarter that add up. Mahomes is an animal. Bottom line if the game is close in the 4th quarter it is really hard to stop Mahomes and MaAuto from winning the game at the end.

Kansas City might not have the receiving targets they had at their peak, but they do have a new and underrated defense that keeps them in games.

Not a popular opinion for good reason. 6 seasons as starter, 6 AFC Championship games. 2 Super Bowl wins. 2 Super Bowl MVP's. 2 NFL MVP's.

It's a QB driven league and he's the best right now.

It's not like I said he's dogshit. I gave him his due. But he's had help. A LOT of help doing what he's done. I just wouldn't put him in my top five all time QBs. And that, to me, is an all timer. The greatest of the greats.

Who are your top five? Everyone else can answer, too.

Ok, so who's on this short list of all-timers?
