Thank god we didn't take him. If he can't take some booing in a preaseon game without flipping the fans off, he would never make it under the pressure of being the Cowboys QB.

He is a volatile, just okay QB from a college that bent their offense around their system. He is not very good at completing his reads and worse about pulling down and running too fast. Tebow with a better delivery.
 
There is a great gif of him actually flipping go the bird as he ran onto the field. Can't post it from my iPad right now but it is greatness.

He had only 2 years of college play so he couldn't have very good at reads. The sandlot scrambles were his reaction to not learning the read. He could get away with that at the college level but it won't work at the pro level. The only people who can get away with it at the pro level are the ones who know when the lanes have been cleared. Guys like Aaron Rogers etc. That takes read skills.

He was flipping off the Redskins players, not the fans.

Either way, he's showing his immaturity. But that doesn't mean he can't develop some by the time he starts next year.

I don't think any defensive penalty should be an automatic 1st down. There are no offensive penalties that give the defense an automatic 4th down. If the yardage gives you a 1st down then so be it. Otherwise your 3rd and 17 just became a second chance at 3rd and 12.

Yep don't see the big deal about this, hell Marshawn Lynch flipped off his coach in a game when he called a p/a pass near the goaline instead of letting him run it in. There are plenty of valid reasons to criticize Manziel but don't think is one
