I wouldn't call him uninspiring. I loved the idea of giving the hat away because they got their sites set a little higher. In 2009, they were wearing themproudly on the sidelines before the game was over.
 
Did that ref bet on the Bengals? Only explanation I can think of for that call against Thomas. It should have gone the other way since he was held.
 
The perfectness of the artificial grass in this downpour is irritating. There should be clumps of sod being stuck in facemasks after every run.

Broncos fans and the national media are finally seeing the Ware that we saw in Dallas the past few years.

Once again he has a good start to the season then fades down the stretch. Only 3 sacks in his last 9 games.
 
Jon Gruden is one lazy analyst. I do not like. Sanders was on the opposite side of the formation, WTF is he talking about.

Yup.

He had 1.5 sacks over his last 6 games in 2012.

He had 1 sack in his last 6 games in 2013.

Wanna guess how many sacks he has in his last 5 games?

One.

Chances are, he'll finish his 3rd consecutive season with 1.5 sacks or less over the last 6 games of the season.

It's amazing. I remember when he used to explode at the end of the season for a bunch of sacks to drive up his season total.

Age and wear and tear turn him into a sub par DE/OLB roughly 8 games into the season. Happens every time.

It's why I chuckled at all the mediots claiming that the Cowboys were idiots for not paying him and bringing him back. They'd look at his double-digit sack totals and assume we let an elite an elite pass rusher walk.

However, as Ace pointed out, what they fail to realize is that he gets off to good starts but by game 9 his pretty much burned out. And those final 8 games of the year are when you need him most.

I actually wanted him back with Dallas but not at that salary/cap number.

Injury prone and not that productive, hell no. I'd flip a sixth or move on. He'd split carries in Dallas as well and he hasn't shown any more franchise back like tendencies then Felix Jones has.

Where is Felix Jones these days? You never hear about him any more since he left Dallas. I guess tripping over the 20 yrd line isn't as popular elsewhere.
