Week 12 Gameday Chatter | Cowboys vs. Giants | 11/23/2014

We dodged a huge bullet. I was fully expecting the refs to fuck that up because they wouldn't want the game to end based on replay.
 
Dallas got away with one tonight but they got it done. Let's see how they look against Philly on Thursday. Going to have to play a lot better to win that game. NYG are a bad team.
 
Tough the feel super stoked about squeaking by the Giants, but road division games are always tough. And if you can take down the Eagles on Thursday youll be in fantastic position.

Hard win.

The Giants did not do much to mentally test them, they went physical.

The next game will be mental.
 
I'll say it again, it was nice to see them stick with Murray and the run game even when we fell behind by double-digits.

That's what kept the Giants off balanced.

Seems like our division opponents always play us tough as hell. I will say the refs made this game a lot tougher then it should have been. Hats off to Beckham though. He almost single handidly beat the Cowboys today.

They didn't get away with shit. In the NFC East it doesn't matter how good/bad anybody is, it's always a struggle. Especially getting the W on the road. F that we got away with one.
 
We got lucky in this one. We can't rely on luck against Philly so we really need to get our shit together before Thursday. I'm just glad that we escaped this one with out any more major injuries, that at least gives us a chance.

The defense was spotty as expected. That's why it's so important to stick with the run game......to keep those scrubs off the field.

As an aside, the 90's Cowboys had a lot of close games against lesser opponents as well. I guess we romanticize those guys so much that we forget that every game wasn't a blowout. But if you go back and look at the results from most of those games during that era, the Cowboys played a lot of games decided by 7 points or less.

Nonsense. Dallas played like ass in the first half & allowed the NYG to march 90+ yards down the field to take the lead back with 3 minutes left. They got away with one because they just as easily could have lost it as won it.

No player on the Eagles can make a TD catch like that. The Giants offense gave us everything they have.
