Week 12 Gameday Chatter | Cowboys vs. Giants | 11/23/2014

I was tempted to turn it off and go to bed myself but boy am I glad I didn't!

This team just doesn't seem to lose it's composure when it falls behind. The defense looked like absolute dog shit in the first half but we stuck with the run, the defense got some stops in the second half and our offense clicked. Not saying the falling behind doesn't freak me out but I love how this Dallas team plays when it does fall behind.

I love Murray, but he has a habit of running to contact and leaving yards on the field. Nitpicking, but hey.

I throw out everything when it comes to the Giants Eli just has our number, that retard always seems to locked in against us.

The Eagles game is going to be interesting we played them tough last year with a much weaker defense. I don't know if Sanchez can hold up under the pressure of a Thanksgiving game for the division lead.

This offense cannot get off to a slow start next week.

Best gamr I've ever seen live. Beckham is going to be an amazing reciever but the Giants have zero building blocks other than him.

Gonna be a great Monday tomorrow. Still in traffic but there was 40% Cowboys fans. Greatest sporting event minus Derek Jeters 3000th hit that I have went to

Yeah and its why there is no way I am breaking the bank on him, he leaves too many yards on the field.

I so look forward to finding a RB that doesn't do that. With this O-line, a back like Emmitt would already have 1800 yards. :buddy

And after watching the way Smith played again tonight the fact he is locked up for 10 years at the price they got him just boggles my mind.

And holy cow Beckham has big hands. On local news they are showing him practicing making those one handed catches. Pretty cool.

On the flip side of that he gets you 2-3 yards on a lot of plays that other RBs get you zero. He does a really good job of refusing to go down. For a back with that type of power his speed to the edge is also elite.

JPP got him a couple times and he had a hold, but he was excellent when he needed to be and in particular with the run game. Free had a strong game too.

We stayed within ourselves and just hung in when we got down...the pessimist in me half expected a int or fumble to end the comeback, but they just kept grinding.

Watching Carter play annoys me...get Watson ready or move Church up and play Spillman. Carter was horrid in zone on the first Beckham TD, did nothing to try to get off the block on the Williams TD, and bit hard on the play action that we ended up getting the int on. He sucks.

I'm watching Mike & Mike and Greeny recapped an idiotic statement made by Mike Smith during his post game press conference yesterday.

When answering a question about why the Falcons didn't try to burn more clock on their final drive, Smith apparently rambled on about having a play that they liked.....which apparently was a go-route to Devin Hester, which is another poor decision that deserves to pointed out.....but during Smith's explanation he actually said if he didn't call a timeout with 55 seconds left the Browns likely would have. :lol

So basically he doesn't even understand the concept of bleeding your opponents timeouts.

I kept watching, but it had bad loss written all over it and I didn't think they'd overcome it.

Glad to see them pull it out, but I am worried about Philly's offense and covering Maclin.

We can't stop any receiver worth a damn.

JPP got him early, but he won the late battles.

He absolutely owned his ass on the final TD pass. Watching him maul JPP for 8 seconds was a thing of beauty.

Just happy this morning. Just another example of a game that would have lost in previous years. I will worry about tomorrow later. Right now Im a towel waving fool.

I loved Romo's quote after the game...he is comfortable in uncomfortable situations. Sums it up well.

I'm just as worried about Jordan Mathews as Maclin. He mans the slot and Sanchez looks for him a lot.
