I'm sure there can be much stronger arguments made for the word "nigger" being used offensively. When it's not being used offensively, as happens all the time with that word by the way, no one has a problem with it because it's not meant in an offensive way.

Kinda like the team name "Washington Redskins" which a federal court held there was no evidence of disparagement. :lol

Hell I grew up in an all Mexican neighborhood and was able to call them wetbacks and not offend them, but I was one of them as I'm sure you were on the reservation,

Yeah, because I had tons of "redskins" trolling the halls of my east Texas high school. They were EVERYWHERE.

My FIL still has no problem casually calling a black person a nigger. Two months after my son was born he and I had a very specific conversation about him not saying that word in front of my son.

This would be a valid point except the majority of Native Americans don't agree that Redskin is offensive to them.

So actually, the debate amongst white liberals deciding who should be offended is more in line with the elites looking down on the masses.
