War With Iran

Only the American left would attempt to defend a bunch of murdering pedophiles who love to torture women and proclaim them to be a great civilization.
Let’s compare immigration numbers. Anybody trying to get into Iran so they can live better lives? Fuck no.

No. Destroyers aren’t made for that. Since we have no minesweepers in the region they would probably use H-53’s towing sleds to sweep for mines
Sorry, I worded that weird. I think there are a couple of destroyers protecting the mine sweep operation? I may have read that wrong earlier so don't hold me to that?

Not sure why that would be, destroyers aren’t made most useful as sub hunters, not detecting mines unless they are specifically outfitted for it, so you could be right.

No, I'm not saying the destroyers are doing the actual sweeping. I'm saying maybe they are there to protect the things doing the sweeping.

It appears meeting all of our objectives will be challenging but to say we're losing is disingenuous at best; from Grok:

Military Damage to Iran (U.S./Israeli Claims)

U.S. officials, including Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Dan Caine and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, have stated that the campaign struck over 13,000 targets. Key reported impacts include:

  • Air defenses: ~80% destroyed (over 1,500 targets hit).
  • Ballistic missiles and related infrastructure: Over 450 storage facilities, 190+ launchers destroyed; missile production and components (fuel, guidance systems, etc.) heavily degraded.
  • Drones: Over 800 one-way attack drone storage facilities hit.
  • Navy: ~155 vessels destroyed or damaged; Iran's navy described as "at the bottom of the sea" (including strikes on ships and ~95% of naval mines).
  • Weapons production: ~90% of weapons factories and the defense industrial base "completely destroyed," severely limiting reconstitution of missiles, drones, and other systems.
  • Nuclear program: Significant additional damage to sites like Natanz, Fordow, and Isfahan (building on 2025 strikes that set it back 1–2 years per some U.S./Pentagon assessments, though earlier leaked reports suggested only months). Nearly 80% of the nuclear industrial base reportedly hit; underground facilities and enriched uranium stockpiles were key concerns, with varying damage assessments (severe but not always total obliteration).
  • Other: Command-and-control facilities, airfields, leadership targets (including the assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior IRGC/official figures), and petrochemical/energy sites tied to military use.
