@Texas Ace the divisions are wrong in the sense that as recently as 2 years ago when the ACC had divisions, they were different. That’s all. UNC was not in the division with State and Clemson, but was in the division with Virginia and Duke.
 
NCAA 25 is the greatest football game ever made.

I've never had this much fun playing a football game ever and I've never played one that presented so many realistic and real life sorts of experiences.

It's not perfect and it still has its wacky video game stuff from time to time, but it is without a doubt the most realistic representation of the sport ever seen in a video game.

I'm in the middle of my dynasty season with Texas back in the old Big 12 and I came in undefeated versus 22nd ranked Texas Tech in Lubbock. @Cotton

I jumped on top of them early and this looked to be a laugher, but then these assholes scored 27 unanswered to take a 34 to 26 lead. And the best part about it was that none of it felt cheap or unrealistic like you'd see in other games in the past where the CPU all of a sudden starts doing Superman shit.

It all was just execution and a huge momentum shift.

And just when it looked like they'd ruin my undefeated season, my DMVP of the season got a huge pick and inside my red zone too, and that completely shifted the momentum the other way which led to me scoring 14 unanswered and pulling out the clutch win late -- and this is why this game is so fun.

I've had games that were back and forth shootouts, I've had games that have ended 13-6, I had a game that was almost identical to that Cowboys and Eagles game in 2018 where both teams were in the single digits then all of a sudden neither could stop scoring in the 4th.

It really is impressive how many realistic games you experience or how many realistic situations within those games occur. If this game would have come out in my 20s, there's no telling how much time I would have put into it as I'm already putting in a good 2 hours a night on it now. :lol

EA has an amazing product on their hands with this game and if they keep their focus where it belongs, there is no telling how much better this game can be going forward. Just gotta hope it doesn't get the Madden treatment.

My son left his PS4 here when he moved out and it's just been sitting here. I know it's an old system but I haven't played any games in forever. Are there any first person shooters any of you would recommend?

On PS4 there really aren't too many shooters with an active player base as everyone pretty much moved on to the current gen.

But you can get online on PS4 with pretty much any Call of Duty game.

If you play online with a PS4, you will be playing against the poors.
 
These fucking updates and shit are why I wait until season starts to get a game like this. Then start your dynasty with the real starting rosters and a lot of bug fixes.
 
This morning I was playing in a CFB playoff game with Oklahoma and towards the end of the game when I was running out the clock, the OU fans started up with the "SEC! SEC! SEC!" chant.

I almost threw up in my mouth.

It still doesn't feel right. :lol

@Texas Ace when you did your custom conferences and schedules did you run into the issue where the number of conference games are completely out of whack compared to reality?

I'm in the middle of doing the offseason stuff after my first full season. Like you, I pretty much put everyone back in traditional geographical-based conferences.

The problem is when I went to customize my schedule, I only have 5 Big 12 games on the schedule and they are locked so I can't edit them. The worst part is Texas and Oklahoma State aren't one of those 5 teams.

WHAT! THE! HELL!

My two biggest rivalry games have been removed and there's literally no way to put them back on the schedule. And having only 5 conference games is incredibly dumb. I had to fill out the rest of my schedule with a mixture of random teams.

This is a massive fail on EA's part.

Yeah, that's why you gotta be real careful that right before you create the dynasty, you'll see a setting for "custom schedules".

If you don't check it before it creates everything, you can't go back. You have to create another dynasty and do all that custom aligning with the conferences all over again.

I know because it's happened twice to me.

I think I'm going to just start over as well. There's no way in hell I'm going to keep playing with that busted ass schedule.

I've been reading threads about this topic on Operation Sports and apparently there's no real fix for it. A number of people claim that the scheduling is a little better if you make sure each conference has divisions and an even number of teams.

Such a pain in the ass. I'm surprised EA hasn't fixed this by now.

Yeah, that's why I went with an even number of teams per conference.

To make that happen, I had to put 14 in the ACC and 12 for pretty much everything else, but that's how I was able to get most teams to play the right amount of conference games.

If a conference had 12 games then I'd have a team play a mandatory of 8 or 9.

If it was 14, I did 10 games.

The results were pretty good in my last realignment season I did.

How's the custom conference season going?

They released a big update a week ago that was supposed to address some of the scheduling issues in dynasty mode and I am definitely seeing the difference.... At least with standard conferences.

Is it better with custom conferences too?
