Tyler Smith to Start Season on IR

Hilarious watching this moron spiral over something relatively minor, probably because he has nothing else really going on in life.

If Smith was out for the year, sure, freak out, but unless there's some sort of additive catastrophic run on injuries in the next month this is nothing but an annoyance that'll be forgotten in 2 months.

What after Bass somehow gets nicked and next men up are guys like Cornelius and Leverett. That is literally it. Lookit, you cannot just call 1-800-Top OG depth at this point, okay?

That is a long stretch and they hope that is the last injury at the position.

Sure, it's a risk and obviously hurts but this moron is acting like he's down for the year.

It's probably 5 games at most, and if we have some other nagging OL injuries it'd probably impact things for 2-3 games.

In case anyone is wondering, the picking are slim on the free agent market.

Will Hernandez still pops up on list but I have no idea where he is at. He did work out a few weeks ago with Detroit but they left swiped him. His hip and knee may be fried.

Kevin Zeitler is available and I would make a run. He is old but still quite effective and he has been healthier than Hernandez.

Neither is a Chuma, but who is?

Note: Dallas can still salvage their season if they sign him off of the Ravens’ practice squad. Redemption and glory could await if we choose salvation, no matter the contract price.

Let’s just say that Chin is a quack and it takes the full six. Anything past the first quarter mark to the season it becomes more concerning. If someone assures me that Bass makes it all six, I have confidence.

Yeah I mean Leverett will probably burn through his activations the first four weeks of the season. Of course he may just get bumped to the roster now. Would have been nice to keep Keegan around if we knew this could be coming.
Keegan can still be poached from Minnesota’s PS.

Agree that if we have no other injuries it's not really an issue, my biggest problem is that these dummies knew about this and figured they could just tough it out instead of doing the surgery a month ago.

This guy barely even missed a TC practice.
