They actually led off the Sounds from the Sidelines this week with the kid.Remember when everyone was charmed by his precocious child?
Good times.
He was fun to watch early on, but turned into a diva once he got paid.
He'll probably play decently in Washington for a year or two in hopes of getting another decent sized deal but it's obvious that him and his brother are unreliable idiots who can combust at any given time, especially after getting paid.
Looks like they save $12.5 million next year.

No-brainer. Yay, they finally did something right. Championship?

That's basically what I said, he was set to count about 18 against the cap next year, now his dead cap hit is around 6, so we're saving about 12.
Plenty of cap space to do whatever we want (i.e. extend Pickens and Williams, then a whole bunch of nothing).
There are so many ways to create cap room next year it's crazy. It's why it's best to just focus on the money saved. The "cap" is just a way to force teams to balance the budget over multiple years.
Lamb and Dak alone have triggers that could be pulled to open a massive amount of cap space. Digg's being gone to me is mostly about the fact that he just kind of sucks as a player and as a person. And I don't want him around the team anymore.
You must have forgotten about Drew Henson and Chad Hutchinson.Sooooo, Beuerlein is still the greatest Cowboy to wear #7?
I'm trying to.You must have forgotten about Drew Henson and Chad Hutchinson.
Sorry, my bad.I'm trying to.
What exactly does "saved money" have to do with anything?
If you believe Jerry he'd write a check you wouldn't believe to win another SB, so cash flow should be irrelevant.
