The Religion Thread

Grew up in a Catholic household. My dad, who almost became a priest, used to leave anti-masturbation pamphlets on my older brothers' pillows. By the time I came of age, he was too exhausted to care.

Reminds me of my family. Me and my older brother wore my parents out so much the next two were spoiled as shit, because just like your dad, they were so tired of dealing with our bullshit by then, they basically just said fuck it and took off the reins off. :lol

Yeah, I never understood that. I think organized religion is mostly horseshit. I just have a hard time believing that God wants you to dress up in nice clothes and sing hymns to him. He doesn’t care about any of that shit.
 
This probably wasn't the intent of this thread, but I'm going to start posting these stories here. Mainly because there is a very intentional attack on the Christian religion going on right now, so I want to keep them in one thread.

 
I'm old enough to remember when the Left hated religion.
