Grew up in a Catholic household. My dad, who almost became a priest, used to leave anti-masturbation pamphlets on my older brothers' pillows. By the time I came of age, he was too exhausted to care.

Reminds me of my family. Me and my older brother wore my parents out so much the next two were spoiled as shit, because just like your dad, they were so tired of dealing with our bullshit by then, they basically just said fuck it and took off the reins off.

No offense to any of our Catholic friends, and I mean that, but I don't get all these layers of people that are supposed to be between you and God.

Yeah, I never understood that. I think organized religion is mostly horseshit. I just have a hard time believing that God wants you to dress up in nice clothes and sing hymns to him. He doesn’t care about any of that shit.
