The Pets Thread...

Obviously not really a pet, but I had to put up a pic of these guys. They're everywhere... Texas Spiny Lizard. Aren't they cool? My phone camera sucks, but they look like a little dinosaur. Like a horned toad with a long tail.

Dog farts are all on the diet that we feed them.

If your dog farts and you have a problem with it, it is because of you.

Mah puppy is a sweet girl. She never farts.

I found a story about Tom Selleck too.

In the sleepy town of Pinewood, Tom Selleck, now sporting a silver mustache as iconic as his Magnum P.I. days, had traded Hollywood lights for a quieter life. But Tom wasn’t one to sit idle. Known for his charm and a knack for making anything look effortlessly cool, he’d taken up an unusual gig: dog fluffer for Pinewood’s annual Canine Couture Show.

The show was the town’s pride, where pampered pooches strutted in sequined vests and tiny top hats. Tom’s job? To fluff fur to perfection, ensuring each dog looked like a furry superstar. With his deep chuckle and steady hands, he’d coax even the grumpiest bulldog into a state of fluffy bliss. “C’mon, Brutus,” he’d say, brushing a Frenchie’s coat to a glossy sheen, “let’s make you a star.”

One crisp autumn day, the show’s star attraction, a haughty poodle named Duchess, went missing. The town was in chaos—Mrs. Delaney, Duchess’s owner, was inconsolable. Tom, ever the hero, hung up his grooming brush and slipped into detective mode. “Alright, folks,” he said, adjusting his aviators, “let’s find this diva.”

He scoured Pinewood, following clues: a trail of glittery paw prints near the bakery, a chewed bow tie by the park. Locals whispered about Tom’s old TV sleuthing days, half-expecting him to solve the case with a quip and a wink. Sure enough, he found Duchess in a backyard, tangled in a rosebush, looking more ruffled than regal.

With gentle hands, Tom freed her, fluffed her curls, and carried her back to the show just in time. The crowd cheered as Duchess pranced down the runway, Tom tipping his hat from the sidelines. “Just another day in Pinewood,” he grinned, brushing dog hair off his flannel. For Tom Selleck, dog fluffer extraordinaire, saving the day was all in the job description.
