To me, this is the interesting part:

Don't punish the rest of us because of the dickheads running around.

If I can get a few extra healthy years with my kid, and some day grandkids, and my wife, and my parents? Fucking absolutely.
 
 
Welp, we got a new puppy dog. We lost our dog of 18 years 2 years ago and the family was ready for another one so we have been looking around for a while. My wife and daughter decided on this one. It is a Lab/Aussie mix. It’s 6 weeks old so it should be fairly easy to train. Not looking forward to that part but if it’s going to be in my house it will need to learn the rules of the house. Haven’t named it yet. I wanted to wait to see what its personality is going to be like once it gets used to us.

So far this fucker hasn't moved, but I'm sure it is still in relocation shock and doesn't know what to think. I will be wishing for him to act like this in a month once he is running the house and barking.

I raised/trained a catahoula (probably the oldest breed of sheep/cattle dog) and I could tell that beautiful dog to stay on the back porch in one spot and come back 2 hours later and she would still be sitting in that exact spot. I can handle a lab/aussie. They are not easy to train and you have to be patient but it can be done and done well.
