Its funny, the city where I live has banned Flock Cameras but they can't control highway patrol from placing them regardless. Half the population supports them because they subscribe to the theory, you have nothing to fear if you don't commit a crime. These people are idiots and have no idea what these things are capable of. They also have never been arrested or detained for a crime they didn't commit. Information like this used to require a warrant. But instead we can just put cameras everywhere and have a program interpret that data how it wants.
