Things were cheaper 20 years ago? NO WAY!

It's like when I was growing up and used to hear people lament that a loaf of bread used to cost a nickel way back in 1955 or whatever.

It's like, yeah and also, the part they never include is, they used to make like a dollar an hour.

I was going to say, in 2006 50k wasn't that bad a salary. Now it's, I dunno, what kids first make out of college? Or less?

I mean I wish things were cheaper but that's not going to happen. Sure somethings may get cheaper but prices don't go down overall. Best you can hope for is that inflation slows down.
