The Outrage Thread

What did I not read?
So, that's the only line you read in all these posts, eh? You just skimmed over the lines DIRECTLY ABOVE THE ONE YOU QUOTED? But that's fine. I always figured you were just being argumentative for whatever reason you might have. But I never figured you for being stupid.

I can admit when I was wrong.

So, is that federally owned land responsible for not diverting water to fill reservoirs and storage tanks so little fishies can thrive? No? Or maybe that was some little Republican councilman's responsibility. That's only one example, but if you can't understand that, then I can't help you.

Nice attempt at a spinaway, but it's not going to work. So yeah, I am telling you that. Would there still be fire danger if California was an R led state? Absolutely. But would that state be still worried about protecting a flower over fire safety? Saving fish over fire safety? Letting our fire departments go to shit with DEI? Cutting millions from the fire budget to divert funds elsewhere?

Would there still be fires in California under Republican watch? Yep. But I sincerely doubt they'd be as catastrophic as they are under Newsome and the rest. At the very least, we could bet firemen wouldn't just be standing around looking at empty fire hydrants while the world burned. So yeah, Irv. You ARE delusional if you are trying to defend this bullshit.
You are much better with subtle details than me. Props you glorious bastard.

Hey, I can admit looking back my post appears very unempathetic to the people of California and that wasn’t my intention. Unfortunately, sometimes I’m not really good at getting my thoughts out of my head into a forum conversation. It bites me in the ass a lot.

But it WAS my intention to show that the people that have been in power in CA for the last 20 years are responsible for what has happened with these fires. Are they 100% responsible?
Of course not, but it’s pretty fucking difficult to defend the laws and thought processes, especially Newsome.
I can admit that my post sounded like an asshole. I don’t want anybody to suffer. I’m not that kind of person, but I also got tired of seeing these rich, famous people talk down to everybody like their pieces of shit when they are the ones that campaign for these democratic fruitcakes, defend these tree huggers and contribute to funds to keep them going so that they end up squeezing out the sane people just trying to live a normal life.

Jesus Christ, you are so intent on chewing raw meat that you don't even read what I said.

Again, I didn't defend shit, I said that stupid people were making decisions, including the ones that you pointed out above, regardless of their party affiliation. But I still maintain that to think that some Republican(s) was/were going to stand there in a blue suit and red cape with the big R emblazoned on their chest holding a hand up to the fires and making them less catastrophic is pure fucking fantasy on your part.

Republican leadership would not have made many of the mistakes that leftist kooks made that led to these fires going out of control.

The Democrats are far and away, MOSTLY responsible. Them and their policies.

Someone wants to pretend he’s the reasonable moderate and blame both sides because it feeds his “I’m not an extremist and that’s why I don’t like Trump,” narrative.

Indefensible here. The Democrats did this to Los Angeles, no one else.

I really hope that's fake/trolling.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the ban at all but I can't pretend to know the ins and outs of why it is being banned. It just looks on the surface as something that is an infringement on people's rights. There would have to be a really compelling national security risk to substantiate something like this.

And frankly a company not wanting to sell to an American company does not say it all to me. It really says very little to me.

It's a CCP influence and data-harvesting operation. That's what it is, and that's why they won't just sell to an American company. There's no benefit to the CCP if that happens.

I'm not a fan of any ban but a company intertwined inexorably with the Chinese government that has access to the personal information and data of American citizens is a national security risk on its face.

I certainly think their unwillingness to divest themselves of the Chinese government through partnership with an American company is at the very least eye raising. You'd rather lose the American market entirely than make some concessions to protect American interests? That's certainly curious and makes you wonder what their actual priorities are.

These people need to go to prison.

This child will end up with a host of mental health issues before he's out of high school.

Considering it's the Chinese Government, do you really think they were motivated by money to sell the company? They may be assuming that there are other avenues besides selling the company and forever giving up the American piece of the pie. Just my guess.

Shit they already own a large portion of the United States debt.
