The Great Police Work Thread

I don't think there's much further point to this thread. The sides are pretty much entrenched. No one is going to convince the people that don't like cops that most of them are acting in good faith. No one who likes cops is going to be convinced that the cops need to stop killing so many innocent people. They probably don't believe any of these instances of police violence ever happened.

The problem is, you jackwagons keep ignoring all of us that say that we don't agree with cops killing innocent people. You just keep spewing that we do, and we say nuh uh, and you say you like for cops to kill innocent people, and we say nuh uh again. Nobody in this thread has once said that they are okay with cops killing innocent people. You and your other pro-criminal colleagues keep saying it and ignoring the fact that no one has said it. That's why this thread should be done. Because one side is set on ignoring that the other side says.

Oh there is. Have you been watching the news? As long as there's material I'll keep posting it.

Yea, ONE side is ignoring the other.

500 INNOCENT people murdered by police every year but no you are completely against that. Sure you say you are, then support any police abuse and intimidation you can... They are all just great people right!!

You say you don't want cops to kill innocent people, but you still want to green light no-knock raids every time there's an anonymous tip someone has dope. You could eliminate 9/10 of these bad stories if you either eliminated those entirely or restricted them to big time Federal level cases.

Okay, 500 murders committed by police, with 120,000 police that puts us with a .4% murder rate for officers. Figure an officer has a 25 year career, and all the sudden is starts looking like a 10% murder rate for officers. America's finest. 1 in 10 will kill you and Iamtdg will cheer as only in 1 in a 1000 is prosecuted for it. Because they protect us!!!

Think of the danger from criminals if these pricks werent here!

If only all us whiny bitches would stop complaining we could have a Brazilian police force that killed 1000's yearly. I am sure kbrown would feel safe then. Just shut the fuck up, wave the flag, support your local law enforcement, and with a little bit of Obama's help I am sure we can get there.

How do you figure that? Did this stat come from the same place Clay got his 99% vs 1%?

There's more like 300,000 total law enforcement in the US. And the figures I've read say only one in three ever even fires his/her weapon in their career. And the officers that last 25 years are pretty rare. I'm not sure the exact statistics with police but not even one in 100 correctional officers puts in a full 25 90% of them quit before they make it 5 years.

Wells, if you figure 8 years instead of 25, that puts the murder rate at 3%. Then figure the ones who do shoot are 10 times more likely to be the same ones who shoot a 2nd time, and I still think the statistics work.

I googled innocents killed by police in america per year and saw that stat on 3 sites.

You saw 10% murder rates from police? Well, let's see the link. I'd love to see that.

With the amount of dogs these sick fucks now shoot I think that 1 in 3 figure is a little off.

I think there may be some semantics with murder and innocent. Just because some may have been killed even though innocent it isn't automatically murder.

Law enforcement has no doubt gotten more violent since I was taking CJ classes in college. I think post 9/11 the way they are trained got a lot less civil and a lot more military.

Yep, it's all militarized now. They took so much more control after 9/11 it's unreal.

God people are stupid, it was 500 INNOCENT victims that I found on multiple sites. Then I found 120,000 police on wiki. Then I just didivided to get %.4. Then I guessed at a 25 year career

Well, I am sure you are right, but if you kill innocents that is generally murder

Sometime it could be accidental or even judgemental errors without the intent to kill.

I completely agree about people being stupid.

Go back and look again to see what part I quoted and asked you about. And to which you answered.

And your "guessing" doesn't automatically bump something from .4% to 10%. Stupid, indeed.
