The Great Amigo Thread...

can we get a recap of all his co-workers and all the teams they support?

i swear he's had 4 or 5 hardest to the hardcore fans of non-Cowboys fans and I recall him working in a small office.

btw, I change my draft grade from B- to A. Thanks, green and yellow fan.

And they praise the Cowboys and address him as if he's an official member of the organization.

Some guys just have all the luck, I guess.

The Gears They Are A Stripping

So I've got this friend named Jared. He has been a huge 49ers fan for as long as I have known him. That changed this last year. He hates Trent Baalke and the Yorks so much that last year he decided to abandon the 49ers as his favorite team. Of course I campaigned hard for our Cowboys. He says he simply can't do that because he hates Jerry Jones. He became a Packers fan. I personally do not know how that is supposed to work. Nothing could make me change my allegiance to our Cowboys, but Jared is now a Packers fan. His main reason for choosing them...a publicly owned team with no owner to dislike.

I get that. If you are sick of the Yorks because they are not Eddie DeBartolo (whom he loves) a completely different direction makes a little sense.

So he calls me a little while ago and inevitably we started talking Draft and I told him how much I loved our Draft. I still can't believe my ears. The guy who hates Jerry Jones, and who for twelve years has told me how stupid it is that the team owner is also the GM has totally stripped his gears. He said, and I quote, "You've got an incredible unfair advantage over other teams that your owner is the GM."

Uh, can we rewind that? I'm not sure I heard him correctly. It is stupid for an owner to be the GM somehow became an unfair advantage for our team. Naturally I asked for an explanation and this is basically what I got.

"GMs are supposed to work for the owners and their jobs should hinge on what decisions they make for the team. Most teams do not have the luxury of the GM not being a guy who can be fired. So Jerry Jones can roll the dice and steal a player like Jaylon Smith in the 2nd round that a guy working for an owner cannot do because if he spends a 2nd on a guy who never plays his job can be lost. It's an unfair advantage for the Cowboys."

"Well, strap my face to the side of a pig and roll me in the mud." --Roy Dupre of the 8063

Are you freaking kidding me? Now, people are going to whine that other teams don't have the balls to make a pick because jobs can be affected by the gamble? An "unfair advantage?"

I can die now. I have heard it all.
He's certainly not shy about going back to the same well of a "friend" that is a fan of another team, but praises the Cowboys.

That is absolute BS that anyone thinks it's unfair to the league that our moron owner is also our GM.

Cisco, the shop owner. Guarantee you that is lifted from some obscure western.

So he actually lost 2 bets.

20 bucks on the Cowboys winning it all, and 100 with the Raiders fan who told him the Cowboys would win less than 6 games.

Now ol' Cisco can say he has seen him lose a football bet.

:lol

i feel like he lives in roger rabbit's toon town. Fuckin 'Cisco the shop owner'. :lol

Yeah but he rides his motorcycle.

You mean dirt bike. Never know when you're going to run across a cop car that needs jumpin'.

He goes from Tucson to Scottsdale for a haircut?

Well, then. Google 'Cisco, haircut, Tucson' and get this...

Mila's Haircut and Salon...one of the two gents are Cisco. Which one do you think is the hardcore Raiders fan?

:lol

I posted this on Facebook. Thursday night I had a dream that he died. Then yesterday I saw the story that he was on life support.

Very weird to me to hear this news.
God damn. Ol' Hos is clairvoyant, too.

Is there anything this guy can't do?

Using the death of a legend to point back to himself. I really hate that fucking man.

The Good Words From One of My "Spies"

He says Tony Romo looks better than he ever has. Spring in his step, accurate, and flat out in control.

Says we need to get excited about Brice Butler now before the bandwagon starts. There is a very real chemistry starting here and his speed is unreal. The last time he said something like this to me was Miles Austin. He was so right. I hope he is again.

Says Zeke is going to make our heads explode at times. In a good way. He said that he hits holes before they are holes and is through to the 2nd level faster than any RB he has seen here.

He says Dak Prescott isn't afraid of being coached and he really listens.

He says Cedric Thornton is so active and strong that no one may be able to run up the middle on him.

This one is my favorite. He says the OL is all business on the field. Every single snap they want to maul someone.
