The Cooking Thread…

If anyone comes in here and says warchesterSHIRE we riot.
We're but a humble football message board.

We can't be that snooty in our cooking thread.

Besides it's Wash-your-sister-sauce.
Don't ever let them tame you, @Rev

Dammit, you have convinced me.

Watch some of this guy's quick recipe vids.

Like, look at this shit - a Brat burger!

I just can't fathom cooking outside like that.

Won't insects and so forth get in the food?

Grilling outside? Where else are you supposed to grill? I'm confused.

At most you will have flies around that you just swat away. You could have a bug zapper (away from the food) I guess.

And that's just Grilling. Smoking is easy with the doors closed.

Say that reminds me…a need a new wok.

Any suggestions?

Or you could just not grill.

But I'm talking about this Blackstone thing. I don't look at that as a grill, a grill you can usually at least close the lid.

By the way, do you know what flies do when they land on something? It's disgusting.

Yes I know.

I still wouldn't use or keep a Blackstone grill inside. They are fairly big. Maybe the garage but you are still going to get the flies in there.

Grilling tastes so much better. Will take a grilled steak with the chance of fly fun being on it over a stove cooked steak every single time.

I have a blackstone.

Let me put this simply: You need one.
I had a Camp Chef 4-burner up until we moved to our new house in Feb, I misspoke and accidentally gave it to my agent.

I went with the Camp Chef at the time because when I bought it, it was well-known that the heat distribution on the CC was much better than the Blackstone.

From everything I have read, the new Omnivore griddle that BS has come out with has completely changed that around, so I went and bought the Blackstone 2 (I think it's the model 2310) at Dick's yesterday on sale for $449 (regular $699).

Although after I got it all together last night I see that the igniter switch is missing :angry

Looks like I'm gonna wait a few days to fire it up... I can't wait.

Are you a Rosenhaus or a Master P guy?

They have electric indoor Blackstone griddles now.

Bought one a few weeks ago and took it right back, the heat is severely lacking. Couldn't even crisp up some bacon worth a shit.
