Test...

I've got a psycho customer flipping out on me right about now. This dude is a fundelmnralist Muslim that treats his wife like a dog. The first day is showed up on his just he starts yelling saying he doesn't want any Mexicans or any women working at his house. I promptly told him that his job will not get done within his timeframe unless Mexicans are working. Now I'm wrapping up a 46k remodel in 20 days, which is ridiculously fast. This dude is throwing a huge fit and being a racist for now reason. He reminds me of this guy Achmed.

Do you ever turn jobs down?

Not sure if you bros realized, but Test Thread made it to page 500.

We're surely gonna win the Super Bowl now.

I got about halfway through it and almost threw up. Felt like I was on a roller coaster and it was never going to stop.

I use the full version of the site on my phone because the other version sucks IMO. This causes the text to run off of the page and create errors by way of old eyes and fat fingers. Is this the way my life is going to go?

For some reason I feel like this is a cross-thread burn. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

But, yeah, you have to wonder when the expenses are going to stop. It just never seems to end.

:lol

You were definitely reading too much into it.

Yes I do. I can usually sniff out crazy people and super detailed/controlling women. Mr. Khan was sneaky about how turned on me. He left a glowing google review for me and then flipped out at the finish of the job.

Yeah, I hate that shit. I didn't used to do that. The page would scroll side to side as the text went, and then all of a sudden one day, you have to either hope what you're wanting to type comes through or scroll the screen manually as you type. I wish they would fix that shit.

This was apparently picked up on a Nest system.

No. No, I did not get a Nest. I had no idea what Nest was. I got a Honeywell.

Nest seems to be the hottest tech name in thermostats and shit. I don't know why, though. It's just a thermostat. I'm curious to know what all the hoopla's about over a thermostat.

KHAAAAAAAAN!

:lol

Right there with you. Right after Christmas we also need to spend money to upgrade both girls bedrooms (new beds, dressers, shelves, desks, et al). It is long overdue and it isn't going to be cheap. This is on top of all the other damn money we have to constantly spend on them. WHEN IS THIS INVESTMENT GOING TO PAY OFF???!!!

My oldest is in college, it gets more expensive. However, if she becomes a Dr like she plans, or marries one, {Fingers Crossed she dumps the Grunt} I am planning to live with her post retirement. :art

So basically it is a wait and see game right now. :unsure

We have a thing call Parent Support at my house. Once the kids leave they have to send money back home until I die. It works in a sliding scale and all so it is pretty much like the government. That's about the only good thing I can think of having Mexican kids.

Mine are 15 & 12 so college is approaching fast for the oldest one. {smiling through gritted teeth} That is going to be so wonderful! {grimacing/eye twitching}

24, 21, 18, 16, 14 and 11. That's the age of my kids. Bottom line for my kids - get a scholarship, join the military or go to a 4 year university on your own dime. I'm not and can't pay 32k per year for my kids to "find themselves". That's just craziness. After 2 years of junior college let's talk but going straight to an expensive university just seems like a foolish risk to me. The ROI is just not there at this point in our country. Unless you are going to a top flight school or enter into a high paying field like engineering or something. If you are going to do really well in a field it will be easy to see after 2 years at JC which costs a fraction of a 4 year university.
