Well, that's weird. Juicy Fruit was actually my favorite in terms of taste. Flavor just didn't last.

Growing up in the 80s I liked Big League Chew because I was a baseball player and of course because of the chewing tobacco gimmick.

Besides that there was very little distinguishable difference between Bubblicious, Hubba Bubba, and Bubble Yum so any of those would do. Bubble Gum and Watermelon were a couple of my favorite flavors. Some of the gum with the liquid burst in the middle like Tidal Wave and Freshen Up were a nice change of pace sometimes. Juicy Fruit was probably my favorite stick gum but Fruit Stripe was a great under the radar stick gum. The worst 'gum' was the brittle, powder-coated sticks that came in packs of trading cards.

When I was a kid my grandparents always had this tub of Apple-flavored Super Bubble. I don't even think they could chew it, but I always looked forward to a few pieces when we would visit. I've had it a few times as an adult and it definitely tasted better in my memories.

You know what I used to enjoy? The shredded beef jerkey that came in a can like Skoal would. Put that jerkey in your mouth and pretend you were dipping, big dog style.

That stuff was greatness. My dad would get pissed when he saw me with it in my mouth like a dip would be.
