Test...

I really like their Summer Ale. Oh, and if you're going to be near Austin and you don't visit Cooper's in Llano, you're doing yourself a disfavor.

The Salt Lick in Driftwood is supposed to be really good. The one by the Round Rock Express not so much.

Better than Cooper's. GTFO of here.

If you say yes, we can no longer be friends.

Well I did say supposed to be because that is what I have heard from a lot of people. Even ones that have been to Coopers.

I've been to the Luling City Market which was good, but not what I thought it would be.

I want to go to Lockhart and see what all the fuss is about.

Is Lockhart the one that only stays open until they run out and is always busy so they don't stay open that long?

Well, since I have never been there so I can't so for sure, but I have yet to run across anything better than Cooper's.

Cooper's is #1 for me too

Correct.

I've been to both. Round Rock wasn't bad, but it wasn't the true Salt Lick experience.

I don't think so. @skid

Lockhart is known for being the "BBQ capital of TX".

There are 3 spots there that are all supposed to be great and each one has its fans. I'm gonna have a little from each location to see which one I think is best.

I've never been to Cooper's, but so far, the Salt Lick in Driftwood is the best BBQ I've ever had.

There's a place out here in the Houston are called Killeen's which has crazy wait times and is supposed to be excellent, but I just can't bring myself to wait hours for food. Especially in the summer time?

No thanks.

Haven't been to Salt Lick so can't comment on them, Franklin's in Austin is really really good too. TBH I think they might be better than Cooper's but I've been stopping at Cooper's for bbq since I was a kid going to the deer lease with my Dad/Granddad so nostalgia tilts it their way for me.

Wait until the pump or pressure tank blows up. If you pump is submersible you will have about a 90 foot pull if my memory of the water table is correct.

Water tables are at different depths all around the world.

Just talked to my brother who has had the BBQ from there and it is Franklins.

He has had both and says at least the Brisket at Franklins is the best.

Oh yea.

That's the one in Austin that has 3 hour wait times.

In fact, I believe that's the place Kanye West tried to cut in line at but the owner sent him away. :lol

I heard it's great, but I haven't had it.

For some reason I thought in your area it was around 90 feet for water wells and 60 for irrigation wells. I guess my memory is a little off.

My well was an irrigation well at one point, so that might be the difference.
