There's a place called Killen's a few blocks from where I work in Pearland that is starting to get recognition and always has a line out of the door.

Haven't had a chance to try it, so I'm not sure if it's the kind of thing someone from out of town would take a trip here for, though. :unsure

I assume the well was tested by the county or someone. At one time the irrigation level well was iffy because of the sheet at that level having high mineral content and some were going deeper to another sheet but all that could have changed. At least that is what the old cotton farmers related several years ago.

Franklin's is the one that came up with wrapping briskets with butcher paper instead of foil to keep your bark from getting too soft

Yeah, it's been tested. This well has been used as a drinking well for about 25 years now.

Allrighty then. I had a well and pump for years when I lived on an acreage. The county had a program for periodic testing. There may even be testing kits now for periodic checks.
