Wrong. They are some digging MFers, and for some strange reason, will chew up electrical cords like they're going out of style. They are a rodent, after all.

Burger challenge competed by my wife and I just now:

Carls Jr vs Whataburger

Monterey Melt vs guacamole Bacon Burger

The Monterey Melt is WB best burger IMO. I haven't had the guacamole burger until now.

MM -

Pros - it's all about the peppers and grilled unions. They bring the flavor out of the burger. That and cheese. The patty is the same size as the bread which is good. I hate it when you have to eat 1" of bread before you get into the meat. Twss

Cons - the patty itself isn't really seasoned well. It just seems like a grease blob. That is usually ok but I was feeling healthy today and it just didn't sit well. Overall it just seemed like things weren't fresh.

Guacamole Bacon Burger -

Pros - fresh, fresh, fresh...the lettuce, onion and tomato were just right. You could tell that they put a real emphasis on this. The patty was a little more firm instead of a greasy mess. The meat seemed more quality and seasoned just righ.

Cons - it could have been a little bigger.

I'll say this though - my wife completely screwed up the taste test because she took a giant swig of her shake right in the middle of switching burgers. I was beside myself that she didn't understand the weight of the situation at hand. Like, who ruins their palette right in the middle of a burger off? Her opinions are invalid. Which leaves only me as the lone expert. I trust me so I'm going with that.

Carl's Jr wins. It is just a better place.

You can just GTFO. We had Carl's Jr here for a few months and it was fucking terrible. I have to assume even if it were a one-off franchise thing, it would still pale in comparison.

The funny thing was when we went through the drive thru at Whataburger while chomping on our Carl's Jr burger. My face was so stuffed that I couldn't talk to the lady when she asked about condiments.

She looked at me like - eww, fat.
