Test...

Thanks! My wife and I are having a hard time getting him to nurse with her so far but I guess that's one of those things that will come.

We weren't able to get our first to nurse at all. Wife was pretty hurt by it, but it's not the end of the world if the kiddo never latches on. Don't fret it. Congrats, btw. Your life will never be the same, and that's a good thing.

The best is when they grow up and you tell stories in front of everyone about them nursing.

My 17 year old nursed for 2 years or so. He's 6'3" so telling stories about how long he nursed is funny. He can't look his mom in the eye when we start telling stories.

:lol

I've gotta hit up Amazon.com to get him a Cowboys onesie ASAP.

Props.

But you misspelled "Eagles".

But seriously, congrats. Enjoy the first.

And uh, don't have anymore if you know what is good for you.

Our house has been on the market for 9 months and we finally got an offer for $5k less than we were asking. At this point we're a little desperate so we said we'd agree to drop the price and buy a 1 year warranty as long as they didn't ask for any repairs. Now that we've signed the contract they came back and asked for about $650 in repairs. I went back and checked and the contract the realtor drew up didn't have any kind of as-is clause in it. I should have made sure it was in there, but can't change it now.

What would you guys do? I am pissed that they went back on their word, but I am trying to be pragmatic about this. I really can't afford to keep making mortgage payments on the place indefinitely, but ultimately the cost of the repairs isn't going to matter one way or the other in the long run. Even if the house only sat for one more month that would still cost us more than the cost of the repairs, and we'd probably still end up having to do them for the next buyer. So I am thinking of counter-offering that we will make the repairs they've asked for in place of buying the warranty.

What I really want to do is tell them to go F themselves.

If you are desperate sell the house and move on. $650 isn't worth it if you need to sell it.

Yeah, maybe I'll just leave a turd in the toilet tank before we hand over the keys.

Yeah, I'm with Skid. It isn't worth the risk of losing the buyer over $650.
