Good point. Phil, you stay out there with your caramel machioto whatever with the cream on top or whatever it is that you hippy bois drink nowadays.
 
The new braunfels area or over run with Californians. They come here and complain about how fat we are and how everything good comes from California. Apparently everything is invented in that state.

If we suck so bad take your ass back.

OK. Reason I asked was I saw an article that the husband/wife owners of New Braunfels Brewing lost their house and everything in it in a fire recently. Couldn't remember what local brewer you knew. Glad it wasn't your friends.

Yeah, but they were probably uppity Californians who had it coming. :art

Seriously though, yeah, that does suck. The couple and their kids and pets all got out OK so as awful as it must be to lose all possessions it could have been a lot worse. Apparently your buddy at Guadalupe Brewing is having a fundraiser/silent auction on Friday to help raise some money to help the family get back on their feet.

Someone who brews good beer should tell steak houses in Texas to put some local craft brew on tap. I don't go to steak houses any more because I'd rather make my own steak and drink a great beer than go to a steak house and drink tea. Pass that on to them.
