Test...

I called my ISP...we went through some troubleshooting, but I am not convinced my computer is jacked up. It is old and sucks...so I think it is the problem, not my internet service.

Ka-Pow-ie...

It's always the first step in troubleshooting.

Have you replaced your computer? Ok, call me back when you have and I can assist.

Carp, have you tried blowing into the computer's vents and opening the disc tray and blowing into there?

That used to work for my NES 25 years ago.

Let me know if that does the trick.

Sincerely,

DCC Geek Squad :geek

Seems to me you should call it troubleeradication.

You forgot about sliding another cartridge in on top of the one you're playing.

My computer is from 2006.

Then, dude, you really do need a new Dell.

I bought my computer in 2009, a Sony Vaio, and I haven't had any problems with it.

I'm going to retire it within the next couple of months. I've been looking around for my next computer. I really want to go Macbook Pro but that $1200 price tag has me hesitant. I'm also thinking about another Sony Vaio.

I've had great luck with Sony Vaio and Dell computers.

HP is terrible. I will never deal with them again.

I don't use my desktop that much...it is more of a conduit to my wireless devices and is storage for photos and music. I don't want to spend that much for a desktop though.

The important thing is, do you feel better?

Let me make a suggestion, go to best buy and pick up one of their $349 specials, then buy a $100 network hard drive, I have a western digital world book, its 1tb which would be plenty for music, videos, and pictures, and I can access it anywhere I have teh intrawebs. Your desktop just acts as a hub anyways, its not like you are multi tasking on it. Besides, the computer you buy today for $349 will be 10 times better than the computer you spent $800 on 5 years ago.

I have one of those big removable harddrives...I am just too lazy to copy everything to it. That almost seems like work.

I built my home computer back in 01, and have had very few problems with it.

Of course I don't surf a whole lot of questionable sites, either...so that probably has something to do with it.

I bought a leveno laptop for my son for 350ish. There is nothing wrong with this things expect for the fact that he dropped it and cracked the screen.

The frozen Boston Market Chicken Pot Pies are flatout greatness.

Speaking of chicken pot pies, the ones at KFC are surprisingly good as well.

I like the Robin Thicke Blurred Lines song. I don't dance with my hands above my head with I hear it though, so it's not gay.
