Test...

They say the two best days in any home owners life are the day you buy the house and the day you sell the house.

They're right.

We bought our house in December 2003 and haven't had one good day since.

I never got the correlation.

Me too. Our life has been a total wreck since we've owned houses he last 22 years. Simply no days of happiness since that day.

Oddly though as soon as we sold each one the depression left. I'm pretty sure that it had something to do with Narnia.

FYI, we financed ours for 15 years this time. I'm looking to retire at 55. Not really completely retire but at least do something else and slow the pace of my life.

My wife and I just put down an offer on a house. 2 bed 2 bath on 6.5 acres.

Congrats, man. Best of luck to you. We are to the appraisal portion of our first house buying process. One of the most stressful things I have ever done. Mainly because this house is as close to perfect for us as we could have imagined. Anyway, good luck, brother. Hope you get it.

You assholes aren't helping.

Someone finally agreed to buy the house I moved out of last year. It is like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders

Congrats Clay. To some degree owning a house is like taking on another member to the household. Expenses goes up,continual requests for assistance begins, requests for maintenance and things to make it look better never cease. Finally the workload increases for you to keep up with the Jones. Maybe congrats was the wrong word.

My kids have spent every day during spring break doing something in the yard. Keeping up with it is a lot of work but I love it.

The only thing I don't like is the requests to use my land for stuff. People think that since I have land I should let them park their things there and so forth.

I am I the process of building a house for my mom on the land but that's fine with me.

Looking for a spot to park my RV when not in use. Anybody know of a place to park it? Would prefer some land with a family living on the property.

Try Ski' s bait shop and RV park.

Try near a river in central Texas. Preferably during the rainy season.

I know a guy in your local area.

Since we are talking about life events, baby Schmidt could be any day now.

Congrats, Schmitty...I've always kind of considered you like the baby brother of the board. Weird to think that you're about to have a kid.
