Ehh I guess I can kinda hear it but if I hadn't been looking for it I doubt I would. This is reaching just as much as parents back in the day who said records played backward were the devil.
 
It is sad how overly sensitive we've become as a society and how overboard people go in order to be politically correct.

We are finding things offensive only because we're told we're supposed to be.

Whether it's domestic violence, issues of race, or sexual preference debates, the level of sensitivity that we've reached in regards to how we're supposed to view and treat matters that have existed forever is quite pathetic and sad.

Gay people can flaunt their love for each other for all to see and we're just supposed to take it, but let one of us say - and politely, mind you - that we don't belueve in that lifestyle and don't want our children to see it, and we're the offensive ones who owe people apologies.

Toy cars with a confederate flag have to be taken off shelves because someone might have a heart attack as they walk by and see it in a Wal Mart while they're buying 99 cent movies and white t-shirts.....despite never caring or even noticing it was there before.

God forbid you suggest that a woman contributed to an altercation that resulted in her being assaulted in any way by her partner. That means we're condoning the act and aren't educated enough on domestic violence and the struggle that women go through on a daily basis.

Wait....illegal immigrants and people of poverty take advantage of government resources (government resources that hardworking, honest people who do not benefit from any assistance whatsoever have to pay for) and do so without no real standard or verification process and this is somehow ok. Yet, if we speak up and point out the inconsistencies in this flawed system, you'll find yourself on the outs for having offended this or that minority group who feel the need to use more energy to start a rally outside of a city hall somewhere instead of using that energy to get a job or improve their situation. Meanwhile, the party who spoke up loses their job because some sensitive dummy thinks they should in order for the employing company to save face, and the group in question go right back to abusing the system that everyone continues to ignore.

In other words, yea......society in 2015 sucks.

My tile setter came to America legally from Mexico and has made a nice life for himself. He's a good guy, learns English and does things legal. Weird, huh?
