I liked Waffle House, I wish they had them here. When I lived in Augusta, GA there was one at the turnoff to my apartment. When I'd go home to shower after PT in the morning, I'd stop there on the way back to base for a quick breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast, and coffee. In and out in about 15 minutes.

There is something endearing about eating grease flavored with truckers and old people. The Waffle House hits the spot with that.



Having said that, Denny's is an awful establishment.

I have to eat Dennys from time to time because wife has the gluten allergy and they are basically the only breakfast place she can eat at around here if we go out to eat. Its still not the greatest but they have improved.
