@MayorBurnsy: French fry power rankings: 1) Curly, 2) Waffle, 3) Shoestring, 4) Wedge, 5) Regular (McDonald's style), 6) Steak, 7) Crinkle.

Thoughts?

4-7 are better than 1-3. I think I would rank them like this:

1. Regular
2. Steak Fries
3. Wedges
4. Crinkle Cut
5. Waffle
6. Curly
7. Shoestring

You can't just rank fries, different cuts are called for for different dishes, if you consider a french fry a stand alone dish you've already failed.

I know I'll get strung up for this, but a tator tot, when cooked correctly, can almost always go above any of those fry options.

The curly fries from Arby's and Taco Villa are delicious, so you GTFO.

We are under a tornado watch until 10pm... ugh.

Let me add that if you serve me a French Dip it better be steak fries with it. You break them in half and dip them in the Au Jus.

Not enough to affect the overall rating.

Curly fries may assume their previously assigned ranking.

Curly fries are the worst. Second worst is whatever you call burger kings fries. Best is McDonald's style, second best is steak fries. Everything else is somewhere in the middle.

Man, we just can't catch a break this year, huh?

http://blog.chron.com/weather/2015/...s-flood-threat-as-tropical-system-approaches/

Moreover, the GFS forecast may be conservative in terms of rainfall accumulations along the coast and for Texas counties immediately inland. This storm is bringing a lot of moisture. The European forecast model, for example, projects rainfall accumulations of 12 to 14 inches in some coastal Texas counties to the east of the storm as it comes ashore.

The bottom line is that all of central, southeast and east Texas face the possibility of heavy rains and major flooding from Monday through Wednesday as this system approaches the coast and then moves inland. It’s really not a matter of whether it will rain, but where the heaviest rain will fall and the inevitable flooding will occur.

Yeah, we have already gotten about 3 inches in the last two days. With a projected 4 more by Wednesday. My tomato plants are loving it. So is my yard, which leads me into a story. At the first of Spring my brother and I made a deal that if I would help him build a 80' X 80' fence he would mow my yard for the summer... and then the rain hit.

The week after the first big rain of the season i fertilized the shit out of my backyard. You can barely even see the firebreak now. Dick move? Probably, but damn my yard looks good now.
