My generator is a dual fuel as well. Gas/propane. I don't plan on running any gas through it unless I just absolutely have to. Keep those carbs from gumming up while it sits.

The burrito hot sauce is where it's at. I'll eat that shit on everything.

Drain the tank and fuel line, then run the engine dry of gas. Then you won't have that problem.

Yea I know, I know it won't handle the ac, dryer, and stuff like that. In my test with it it did handle the deep freeze, fridge, lights in a couple rooms, and a few electronics going pretty easily and thats really all we need if we get in that situation to have to use it

No doubt. If you have a gas water heater you could probably run that too.

You can definitely run a gas wh since they need no electric at all :towel Having a gas furnace is probably what you're thinking about. If it's gas you just need electric for the blower fan. I can run one at a time to warm the house up(have separate for upstairs/downstairs), trying both of them at once started putting quite a load on the generator though

Yeah, I was talking about the water heater. It has an igniter and control panel. That takes a tiny bit of electricity, so you are all set for hot water in that case. An electric heater needs about 40 amps for start-up.

Well the newer powered vent models do need a electric hookup but most need none at all


edit: actually let me clarify that- they do need a small bit of electricity but it is provided by the thermocouple

I still am getting nicotine, but not the tar and everything else. Just got my kit on Saturday and wonder why I did not switch to it earlier.
